June09poster1To go with the recent unseasonably fine Irish weather we’ve put together a pretty hot line-up for June at the Pavilion. Kicking off as always with our Fish Go Deep party on June 6th, we’ll be following up with the mighty Charles Webster on the 13th, a solo four hour selection from Shane on the 20th and rounding the month off with the Cork debut of the hardest working Frenchman in house, Franck Roger, on the 27th. Hot?

Check back for further details over the coming weeks….

Norwegian maestro Prins Thomas makes his long awaited Cork debut this Saturday at the Pavilion. It’s gonna be great! Doors open at 10pm and Shane will be playing a few records before handing over the controls. Get down early and often.

If, like us, you can’t wait until the weekend here’s a little taste of what to expect. And tune in to Red FM for our radio show on Friday 29th for an exclusive half hour mix from Prins.

Super set last weekend from our man Jimpster – a great rolling groove all night long with plenty of his own cuts and many Freerange exclusives. Check out our current podcast with an exclusive Jimpster DJ mix for a flavour of the night.
Next Saturday, May 23rd, Greg Dowling is boldly going etc etc for a four hour solo stint at the controls. New Fish Go Deep tracks a-plenty. Doors at 10pm, get down nice and early.

After a mighty fine session with the Disconauts last weekend and a killer FGD monthly party the week before, this Saturday we welcome Jimpster back to Cork for his first Leeside gig in a couple of years. The Freerange Records main man balances his busy worldwide dj schedule with an equally hectic studio life and over the last ten years has built up a superb back catalogue of original productions and remixes.

We have an exclusive 30 minute mix from the man himself on our radio show on Friday 15th. Listen on your boom box at 103-106FM or online from 9pm.

With all these extra Saturdays during May we’re aiming for at least 25% more dancefloor action this month. Starting, as ever, with our monthly Fish Go Deep party (2nd) and continuing on with the west coast’s finest, the Disconauts with percussionist Mark Logan (9th), Freerange Record’s breakdancing bossman Jimpster (16th), a four hour solo run from Greg Dowling (23rd), Norwegian disco don Prins Thomas (30th) and a twelve hour back to back marathon with Ron Hardy and Larry Levan (37th). Ok, scratch that last one – there’s not quite that many Saturdays but it’s a blockbusting month all the same.

Check back here for weekly updates on the individual guests, our Go Deep Presents monthly podcast and the occasional guestlist giveaway. And feel free to sign on to our new Twitter feed for up to the minute news and views.

march09postersSlightly later than advertised here’s our super-fine line up for March….

After a rather stomping FGD session last weekend, this Saturday sees one of our favourite spinners, DJ Deep, making the trip from Paris, with a chunky bag of house, techno and who knows what else.On the 21st we’re looking forward to Tayor and John Mahon, two of the head honchos from Dublin’s Bodytonic crew. And rounding off the month on the 28th we’ve got the London-based disco-dubbing Idjut Boys coming in for their Go Deep debut. All in all a pretty sweet selection of music we hope you’ll agree.

Following on from the dubdiscotechnohouse extravaganza that was John Daly last weekend, we’re going deep this Saturday night with Martin Iveson, aka Atjazz. The production talent behind more than his fair share of Go Deep classics over the years, Martin is also a wicked dj, as anyone who listens to his Keeping It Deep series of mixes will testify. Check the Atjazz website – http://www.atjazz.co.uk – for more music and info.
